   Zoom in on diseased leaves, discolored stems, or pest damage. Wide-angle shots dilute the signal. The AI focuses on the dominant features in frame.

   Use natural light

   Direct sunlight or bright indirect light gives the most accurate color rendering. Avoid yellow indoor bulbs, they shift color values and confuse nutrient-deficiency detection.

   Hold the camera steady

   Blurry photos lose detail. Brace your phone against a surface or use a timer. Sharp focus is more important than high resolution.

   Fill in every environmental field your tier supports

   Soil, nutrients, temperature, humidity, and container details all narrow the diagnosis. Cultivator tier especially, the LLM uses these to reason about root cause.

   Take multiple scans over time

   If a diagnosis is uncertain, scan again 2-3 days later. The plant timeline view will show whether your treatment is working.
